JEE Main Paper 1 & Paper 2 Exam Score card 

JEE Mains 2017 was held this year in various centers of the state.  Many aspiring students have taken the JEE exam conducted by CBSE.  Now as the exam is completed successfully all the students have been anxious to know their results.   Qualified candidates of JEE Mains will be eligible to take JEE Advanced exam.  The exam will be conducted for two papers i.e., paper-I and paper-II.  CBSE will release the results of JEE Mains exam through its official page.  Candidates who have appeared for the JEE Mains exam can visit the official page of the JEE board to check their results.  Candidates are advised to keep in touch with the official page of JEE Board to check their results as soon as they are released.

First the list of qualified candidates in the JEE Mains exam will be released and then All India Ranks will be announced by CBSE.  The AIR will be announced soon after the results are released.  Candidates who got qualified in JEE Mains exam will be eligible to take JEE Advanced exam.  Candidates who got qualified in the JEE advanced exam will be called for counseling process.  Students need to submit their documents for verification in counseling.

  • In the official page search for the link saying ‘JEE Mains result 2017’ and click on it.
  • On clicking the page will be navigated to a new page where you need to enter your enrollment number and date of birth.
  • After entering the details press submit button.
  • Your score and rank will be displayed on the monitor.
  • Take a printout of your score and rank and keep it secure for future use.

JEE Mains 2017 Admit Cards: The Central Board of Secondary Education will be holding the JEE Mains 2017 Exam in April 2017. It is a two-tier exam (Mains and Advanced). The JEE-Main exam is for admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs. Like every year, the board has issued a notification regarding the JEE Mains 2017 Exam and invited the applicants. The aspirants who seek an admission in the mentioned institutes should possess certain criteria. JEE Mains 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications: To be eligible for the JEE Mains 2017 exam,

  • The candidates should have completed their 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or 2016 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the subjects.
  • The candidates appearing in 12th or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply.
  • The candidates should have minimum five subjects in 12th/qualifying examination.
  • Even the Diploma (3 years) holders are eligible to apply.
  • The Candidates who qualify in the year 2017 may also eligible to appear.
  • A candidate can attempt this exam for only three times.
  • The candidates in order to apply for the IIITs, NITs, CFTIs must have secured 75% in their class 12 board exams. For SC/STs, it is 65%. The board marks will not be taken into consideration for calculating JEE Main score from 2017 onwards.

Note: The candidates who had passed their 12th or equivalent exam in the year 2014 are not eligible

Age Limit: The candidate’s Date of birth should fall on or after 1st  October 1992 for General candidates and 1st October 1987 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. The date of birth mentioned in the Secondary Education Board/University will only be considered for appearing in the exam.

JEE Mains 2017 will be conducted in several states across the country and most importantly the states which will participate in IIT JEE examination are Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Haryana, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Nagaland, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and few more. JEE Mains 2017 Examination will be expected to be conducted in the month of April 2017. The online and offline mode examinations will be held in the April month. To secure admission in the IITs or NITs the candidate needs to secure the minimum cut off marks to get admission in the best colleges. According to the new pattern, every individual category candidate will have different cutoff marks. The cut-off marks are decided on numerous factors such as No. of candidates, the difficulty level of examination, the pass percent of the candidates and so on.
